Chicagoland Chapter
MUHSEN Headquarters
As the Headquarters and First Chapter of MUHSEN, in and around the Chicagoland Area, MUHSEN has many activities throughout the year.
The Chicago Chapter is home to 11 MUHSEN-Certified Masjids and six MUHSEN Weekend School Programs.
Year-round activities include awareness events, volunteer trainings, MUHSEN themed khutbahs and Ramadan and Eid Festivities.
Chicago is also home to the newly opened MUHSEN Center, a future space for MUHSEN’s very first Adult Day Program.
Arizona Chapter
Currently we have three certified masjids in Arizona.
Our events include respite nights during taraweh, eid festivals, awareness khutbahs and youth workshops.
Bay Area Chapter
Currently in our Bay Area Chapter, we have three Muhsen Certified Masjids and two Weekend School Programs.
Our latest events include a Youth Training Workshop, a Family Picnic, Eid Drive Bys, Awareness Speaker Events and ASL Interpreter Services at Educational classes.
SoCal Chapter
Our Southern California Chapter is one of our newer chapters and is getting established with two silver certified masjids.
They are currently working on getting families interested in MUHSEN and breaking the stigma within their region.
Dallas/Fortworth Chapter
Our Dallas/Fortworth Chapter oversees four MUHSEN-Certified masjids in the DFW Area and hosts many Community Events.
This Chapter has started a successful MUHSEN Weekend School Program, has had Eid Accommodations, Family Picnics and has been part of the Dallas Guild for Down Syndrome Walk, an Autism Walk as well as other community fundraisers and advocacy efforts.
Michigan Chapter
In the Michigan area, we have six certified masjids. We have hosted awareness panels, two jummah khutbahs on special needs and sensory time at the world’s largest bounce house for Eid. New York Chapter
Our New York Chapter is one of our newer chapters and is getting established.
They are currently working on getting families interested in MUHSEN and breaking the stigma within their region.
New Jersey Chapter
Our New Jersey Chapter is getting established with Volunteer Training Events, two Weekend School Programs started and five Muhsen-Certified Masjids. Activities have included family socials, an Awareness Talk, and much more.
We are currently working on getting families interested in MUHSEN and breaking down the stigma with hopes of certifying more masjids in the area soon.
DMV Chapter
Our DMV Chapter is one of our newer chapters and is getting established in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area and is home to five silver certified masjids.
They are currently working on getting families interested in MUHSEN, reactivating masjid activities and breaking the stigma within their region.
