The mission of the UCDD at the University of Kansas is to optimize the quality of life and extend the concept of independence, productivity, integration and inclusion of individuals with disabilities in all aspects of life over the life span. Some of the projects LSI provides are: Counseling for Alzeimer’s Caregivers, Deaf Blind Equipment Distribution, Disability Equipment Exchange, Telecommunications, Disability Equipment and Financing, Child Care Specialist Network, Telemedicine, and much more.
