American Muslims for Palestine recently endorsed the Countering CUFI: Invest in Justice campaign by Friends of Sabeel North America (FOSNA). FOSNA is a non-profit, tax-exempt Christian ecumenical organization seeking justice and peace in the Holy Land through nonviolence advocacy and education. Graylan Hagnler, Allison Tanner, and others are listed to speak at this virtual event. Taher Herzallah, the Associate Director of Outreach & Grassroots Organizing with the American Muslims for Palestine, is listed as a featured speaker, and will be engaging in dialogue with leaders of different faith backgrounds discussing CUFI, or Christians United for Israel, the largest Israel lobby in the US.

His campus activism has attracted the attention of Electronic Intifada and otherplatforms, has published on platforms like the Orange County Register and Al Jazeera English, and has been featured in live interviews on Al Jazeera Arabic. He has authored a guide for student activists titled “Everybody Freeze.” Herzallah is also listed on FOSNA’s website as a speaker with an expertise in campus activism and “faithwashing” issues. In 2011, Herzallah was a featured speaker at an event organized by the Rachel Corrie Foundation, where he was also a featured speaker along many Jewish and Christian leaders in solidarity with the movement for justice in Palestine. Taher previously served as a community organizer with the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California.
